Hi, I'm Carol.
I love working with primary-aged students and
seeing them experience light bulb moments! I also know it takes time to plan
and look for materials that will lead students toward these moments!
I'm here to help other primary teachers who love
experiencing these student light bulb moments.
I love to share time-saving ideas and materials that are
engaging, fun, and do the job!

All through my teaching career, I've created activities and
materials for my students that are enjoyable and appealing. I feel that when
students are having fun, they are more apt to learn!
I opened my TpT store in July 2014 to begin sharing ideas and
activities from my teaching experience. I created activities to use in my classroom
and thought other teachers might find them beneficial too!
I have been involved in education all my adult life! I
taught preschool before having my children, homeschooled my children for
several years, oversaw other homeschooling families through a private school,
and taught kindergarten first grade, and second grade for 27 years in public
school (the bulk was first grade).
I am a coffee and chocolate lover! I can't imagine starting
my day without several cups of strong, black coffee! I love pretty much any chocolate
candy if it is made with milk chocolate. One of my very favorite candies is See’s
milk chocolate Bordeaux.
I am married and have 3 grown children, five adorable
grandchildren, and a fantastic fur baby named Bella.
